OHEYS Summer Adventure Evenings

OHEYS Summer Adventure Evening Activity Program for Teens/Adults with ASD

In moving more towards adulthood, everyone needs group friendship opportunities. OHEYS Autism Programs is offering a SUMMER ADVENTURE EVENING ACTIVITY group program for TEENS TO YOUNG ADULTS with autism/Asperger’s who are interested in meeting new people, hanging out with friends, and learning new skills.

Our goal is to provide a supported group-based activity where the focus is to connect with friends and be social around common interests while also engaging in new physical activities. Participants will also be able to help plan future events. Refreshments, snacks, and conversation will follow the group activity.

This summer, we are planning (at least!) two activities where youth on the autism spectrum can participant in a CANOEING and/or an ARCHERY evening!  The low registration cost will cover all equipment will be provided as well as support from trained coaches to assist in the social skills and physical activity.

Summer Adventure Evenings will be held on Tuesdays, beginning July 5th, 2016!
