Promoting Flexible Thinking and Interaction with your Child at Home

Tuesday evenings, 7:00 to 8:30

River Room at Rehabilitation Centre for Children

October 16th to November 27th 2012

Presented by Lianne Belton, Occupational Therapist, RDI® Program Consultant

This series of seven workshops is designed for caregivers only. We will be examining how children learn to be flexible in their ability to think and to communicate, and the impact of disability on family interaction. Small changes in the caregiver’s approach to the child can have a big impact on the child’s thinking processes; in each session there will be opportunity for discussion, practice, and a small homework assignment will help you to integrate the ideas once you get home to your child.

The information provided in each session builds upon previous sessions, so please try to attend the entire series.

Registration for all seven sessions is $25.00
